1. What We Collect

We collect the information you provide when using BusyDad:

• Account info: name, email address (via Google Sign-In)
• Family profile: family member names, vehicle details, home address
• Entries and categories you create
• Voice transcripts, photos, and files you capture
• Device tokens for push notifications

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the BusyDad service (organising your life admin)
• To send you reminders and notifications you've set
• AI processing: your input is sent to Google Gemini for parsing. Google does not store your data for model training.
• Google Places: business names are looked up via Google Places API for enrichment.

3. Where We Store Data

All data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud), region europe-west2 (London, UK).

4. Who Sees Your Data

• Only you can see your data. We do not share, sell, or provide your data to third parties.
• Google processes AI requests but does not retain your data.
• Firebase infrastructure is managed by Google Cloud with enterprise-grade security.

5. Data Retention

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access your data (Settings > Privacy & Data > Export my data)
• Delete your data (Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete my account)
• Withdraw consent for AI processing (delete your account from Settings > Privacy & Data)
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Children

BusyDad stores names of family members including children as provided by you. We do not collect data directly from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via the app.
